New Research and Testing Lab Opened in NC

(September 26, 2016) MacAulay-Brown, Inc., a leading National Security company delivering advanced engineering services and product solutions, has recently announced the addition of a Command, Control, Communications and Computers (C4) Research and Development (R&D) laboratory in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

“The new Tactical C4 R&D lab provides Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing, Radio Frequency (RF) emissions pre-compliance testing, environmental experimentation, and support for engineering design and integration activities,” reported the EconoTimes, “Environmental capabilities include the use of thermal shock, temperature humidity, and temperature altitude chambers.

“Additionally, the Semi-Anechoic Chamber supports MIL-STD-461 Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) testing, and has a 24-foot turntable capable of supporting 55,000 pounds. An anechoic chamber simulates an Open-Area Test Site (OATS) without interference from environmental electromagnetic field pollution.”
